Philips, under the thumb of TP Vision, prepares the arrival of sunny days with its first adorning Bluetooth speakers, called S4807 and S7807.IP67 certified, these two models share the same waterproof design with a chassis covered with a double rubber thickness. To facilitate their transport, the speakers are respectively accompanied by a small strap or a large strap.

Even if their size and sound claims differ, the S4807 and S7807 offer a very close user experience on paper: many integrated controls, Bluetooth 5 connection.2 Multipoint, possibility of pairing a second speaker to broadcast the same content or for a stereo configuration, and integration of a microphone for the hand-free kit function.

The S7807 is significantly distinguished by offering the possibility of recharging a device via USB.

Regarding sound performance, the most compact model is logically the most slightly equipped: a single medium speaker/45 x 80 mm is present, accompanied by two passive radiators. For its part, the S7807 hosts no less than four speakers (two 20 mm tweeters and two 70 mm medium/serious speakers) and two passive radiators, and promises a “four times more powerful” rendering than itspartner.

The launch prices of the S7807 and S4807 have not yet been communicated by the manufacturer. The two products should arrive in March 2022.

For its part, the Philips Sport range is enriched by True Wireless A7507 headphones.Resistant to water projections (IPX5 certification in support), these intra-earners benefit from a stabilizer system supposed to ensure their maintenance in the hollow of the ear.Although few headphones dedicated to sport offer it (largely for security issues), the A7507 offers an adjustable active noise reduction function, accompanied by a listening mode of surrounding sounds.According to Philips, this old “pro” function would be very little sensitive to the noise caused by the breath of the wind ... remains to be seen in practice in practice.

Integrated microphones for communications promise a very good quality of call, thanks in particular to a bone conduction system capable of effectively detaching the voice of the user of surrounding noise. In terms of connectivity, Philips has hardly given details, if not supporting the LDAC and AAC codecs by headphones and the presence of a Philips companion application to personalize certain features (in particular the level of noise reductionactive). The autonomy of the A7507 is announced at 8 a.m. by charge, with the possibility of recharging the headphones more than twice with the provided transport case.

Again, Philips did not reveal any launch prices of the A7507, whose release is expected in October 2022.
