I paid 50€ on PC for the first one and 20€ for the extension.

There you are asked for 18€ and now 12€, or 30€ in total. Game which has been fully optimized for the iPad. You have to stop believing that everything is free. Whether in-app or not, you only pay for the update, hence the lower price. Those who only buy the 2nd version pay less? Yes and they have been playing for less time. All in all, nothing more normal.
