A project of 17 titles entitled I’m So Free: The 1971 RCA DEMOS on behalf of Lou Reed came out during the Christmas period and immediately withdrawn

A novelty immediately arrived, immediately missing.According to Variety, RCA/Sony Music put online on iTunes in Europe, on December 23, an unprecedented album of 17 titles from Lou Reed titled I’m So Free: The 1971 RCA Demos.However, the album was removed, a few streams later.The tracklist is to be discovered below.

According to NME, the reason for this outing seems to be an apparent "dumping" of copyrights to extend the property of RCA/Sony Music on Reed's recordings.Sony Music has not yet been comment.

These outings dedicated to the extension of copyrights have become recurrent in recent years.According to law, recordings are protected for 50 years after their publication and can be extended up to 70 years, provided that they are "legally communicated to the public" in the first 50 years.Over the decades, new collections on the Beatles, Stones and Bob Dylan have briefly appeared on the Internet via third parties, before being removed.

As a reminder, Lou Reed died on October 27, 2013.
