Since the release of Chapter 65 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, new questions have arisen about the future of Naruto Uzumaki. You are not unaware that the first chapter of Boruto threw confusion in the minds of fans of the Naruto franchise.

The chapter in question clearly announced that the hero who marked an entire generation would meet a disastrous fate. Suffice to say that the fans were shocked just at this idea.

SPOILER ALERT!

An inevitable death?

The generational shift in the ninja world has struggled to win favor with early fans of the Naruto franchise. The pilot chapter that heralded Naruto's tragic end didn't help either. In said chapter, we discover the village of Konoha totally devastated and two men are about to fight.

These two men are Boruto, the son of the Seventh Hokage and Kawaki, a very mysterious boy. The two young men seem to possess an identical power which is manifested by the formation of a mark on their bodies. In the following, we will discover that this mark is called Kama and what it means to be the bearer of it.

Over the course of the chapters, the old guard embodied by Naruto and Sasuke found themselves in bad shape several times. They now face new enemies even more powerful than Kaguya whom they have already struggled to put out of harm's way. In addition, they will have to face not one, but several Otsutsuki and the latter no longer fear the ninjutsus, the main weapon of the ninjas.

What does chapter 65 reveal?

Boruto: Naruto's Fate Is- is it sealed?

Naruto has been close to death more than once in the Boruto manga. We were starting to think that maybe it was a bluff by Masashi Kishimoto and his whole team. But the development of Chapter 65 puts back on the agenda the prospect of seeing the Seventh Hokage perish.

The pilot chapter announced that Kawaki would be responsible for Naruto's death, but the evolution of the manga with the loss of his Kama cast doubt on this possibility. But chapter 65 will change everything. The thawing of the Kama accelerates and Boruto gradually tends to change into Otsutsuki. But Amado offers him a glimmer of hope with a pill supposed to slow down his mutation.

As he faces Code, Boruto once again unfolds the Kama's full potential and manages to maintain control. But it won't last, because Momoshiki repoints the tip of his nose and invests Boruto's body again. Code finds himself in bad shape and tries to save himself by taking Kawaki hostage. But Momoshiki revisits Boruto's favorite technique. He creates the Rasendan (swirling ball), a new version of the Rasengan, and manages to reach Code.

Naruto: Momoshiki's new target?

You have to admit that Momoshiki is really ingenious and adapts Boruto's techniques to all situations. This could well give ideas to the young ninja. But Momoshiki remains an enemy nonetheless. His plans are still unclear, but in Chapter 65, he intended to be done with Code.

But Naruto's sudden arrival made him change his plans. His new target is none other than the Seventh Hokage. He deploys all his power to eliminate him, but Kawaki who had however lost the Kama manages to suck up Momoshiki's technique. We do not understand anything anymore ! The reappearance of the Kama on Kawaki's arm is a mystery.

With the disappearance of Kurama, Naruto has lost a lot of power and that does not bode well for our dear Hokage. Even if for the moment he is out of the woods, the return of Kawaki's Kama and the loss of control of Boruto could well be right for our hero in the future.
