The case of Estelle Mouzin, forever resolved

In recent weeks, new excavations had been organized to try to find the body of little Estelle Mouzin, who disappeared in 2003. This time, the excavations had taken place in the forest which surrounds the castle of Sautou in the Ardennes, former home of the murderer. He had assured that the body "could" be buried there.

Michel Fourniret had admitted his responsibility in the murder. His companion Monique Olivier had also recognized, on April 1, his role in the kidnapping of the child. However, the excavations at the end of April unfortunately failed to find the body of Estelle Mouzin.

Unfortunately, he will never be judged for the disappearance of Estelle Mouzin in 2003, the murder of Lydie Logé in 1993 as well as that of Joanna Parrish in 1990 and Marie-Angèle Domèce in 1988. All these murders, of which he himself even admitted to being the author. But the death of the serial killer does not call into question the trial for the Estelle Mouzin case.
