Yes, I seemed to understand that too from Mickaël's last article: only OCLP then allows you to directly use the functions integrated into the bone for system updates, like any supported Mac.
I have a 13" mid-2012 i5 MBP with Intel HD4000, 512GB SSD, 8GB RAM. Does anyone have any feedback on Big Sur's responsiveness and full functionality on this generation of MBP? This would be his ultimate OS. 🥲
