Before the 2022 Winter Sales, which products were the most watched by the French?

The shopping calendar starts in January with the Winter Sales. This year, the event will begin on Wednesday January 12 at 8 a.m. and will end on Tuesday February 8 at midnight , but what are the products that the French hope to see on sale?

To get an idea of this, Idealo has compiled a top 20 of the products most watched by its users in December 2021. The results should therefore be tempered since they come from a particular period, the end of year celebrations.

1.Sony PlayStation 5 Standard Edition

90 starsRead Sony PlayStation 5 Standard Edition review We're extremely impressed with the PS5. Its design is bold. Its new controller is a big step forward, both in terms of ergonomics and functionality. But the toy library is still meager.

2. Apple AirPods Pro

95 starsRead the Apple AirPods Pro review This “Pro” version of the AirPods has been thoroughly redesigned, and for the better because, in our opinion, these are the best earphones on the market. On the menu, a sweat-proof in-ear design (advice to athletes) offering excellent comfort while avoiding the intrusive side of this format, high-end sound reproduction, much richer especially in bass, but also a high-performance active noise reduction and an ever-reliable wireless connection. More compact than the Sony WF-1000XM3, they nevertheless offer slightly lower audio quality in our view, slightly less practical controls and average battery life. They recharge more easily, however, thanks to their case supporting inductive charging, which compensates for the absence of a USB-C port. Although their price is very high, the AirPods Pro will appeal to those who do not support in-ear headphones well, and both iOS and Android users.

3.Apple AirPods

77 starsRead the Apple AirPods (2019) review Although they can't compete with the best models on the market when it comes to sound (hard to get powerful bass with traditionally shaped headphones), the 2019 AirPods offer audio quality that's correct but above all, these headphones have an extremely reliable wireless connection, with a very satisfactory level of latency. Their induction charger, available as an option, is also very practical and Bluetooth pairing is very simple, even with Android or Windows. On the downside, the touch controls are limited and not always effective, and their lack of isolation can get in the way in noisy environments.

4. Nintendo Switch Oled White

88 starsRead the test Nintendo Switch Oled White The new Nintendo Swith brings some improvements compared to the 2019 model. The screen becomes Oled and goes from a diagonal of 6.2 to 7 inches. The rest of the definition, however, remains in 720p. A wider kickstand appears, as well as more powerful speakers, doubled storage space (64 GB) and the dock benefits from an Ethernet port. Autonomy announced by the manufacturer is 4.5 hours to 9 hours depending on use.

5. Roborock S7

90 starsRead the Roborock S7 test The Roborock S7 surprises with its ability to complete tasks, it is the first robot vacuum model with the mop function to be satisfactory on this point. It offers real help with cleaning, both in terms of vacuuming and cleaning tasks, with a well-designed application that offers multiple possibilities to refine its path and make it even more independent.

6. Xbox Series X

88 starsRead Xbox Series X review Series X refines and perfects what has worked so well in the Xbox One lineup. If the PlayStation 5 is a pure gaming machine, the Xbox Series X is a more complete console.

7. Apple AirPods 3 (2021)

77 starsRead the Apple AirPods 3 (2021) review The AirPods 3 are very good quality open headphones, a rather rare species. Of course, you can find decent open headphones for around 50/60€. However, the AirPods 3 not only sound better, but they also have additional features like spatial audio. And they're also great for making calls. So if you're looking for great open-back headphones, they might be worth the money, although as said above, you should also consider the more reasonably priced AirPods 2. On the other hand, if you don't care about having open headphones or closed in-ear headphones, then know that you can get better sound and effective passive or active isolation in transport for much less.

8.Sony PlayStation 5 Digital Edition

Sony PlayStation 5 Digital Edition The PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is the same as the PlayStation 5 Standard, except that it doesn't have a Blu-ray drive. The performances are therefore the same and the size similar. However, it costs less and could interest users who prefer all digital to physical.

9. Apple AirPods Pro + MagSafe Charger

10. Nintendo Switch (2019)

Nintendo Switch (2019) The Nintendo Switch 2019 takes up most of the technical sheet of the old generation but differs from the latter thanks to its autonomy. While the first Nintendo Switch of the name offers between 2.5 and 6.5 hours of autonomy, the Switch 2019 allows itself to display between 4.5 and 9 hours of autonomy.

11. Apple iPad Air 2020

85 starsRead the Apple iPad Air 2020 review The new iPad Air is undoubtedly the best alternative to the iPad Pro 2020. But its price, which depends on how you configure it and equip it with accessories, can vary considerably .

12.LG OLED65C1

95 starsRead the LG OLED65C1 test LG's flagship model in 2021 takes up most of what made the success of the LG CX of 2020: impeccable image quality, advanced features and top video game performance. This year it adds a new, more user-friendly WebOS 6.0 interface, a new Magic Remote gyroscopic remote control that incorporates an NFC chip to share content from your phone, a more powerful Alpha 9 Gen 4 image processor and Bluetooth 5 aptX compatibility. But its exceptional performance and high-end features do not overshadow its price, which is higher than its competitors. If you have the means, however, there is no doubt that the C1 will give you complete satisfaction.

13. Sony WH-1000XM4

95 starsRead the Sony WH-1000XM4 review After a top-notch WH-1000XM3, Sony is fine-tuning its recipe for the ideal active noise reduction headphones without upsetting it too much with a WH-1000XM4 evolving in small steps. The device features slightly more effective active noise reduction, better call quality, multipoint Bluetooth connection (finally!), and new advanced features. Thanks to its excellent noise reduction, its first-rate audio quality and its optimal comfort, the 1000XM4 delivers, like its illustrious predecessor, the best performance on the market in the field of mobile headphones. On the other hand, the device is no longer compatible with the AptX codec, which is not dramatic since it remains the LDAC to obtain a high quality stream, but all the same. We would also have liked to see the brand take a little more risk, because the 1000XM4 remains very close to the M3, we would rather advise you to choose the latter for the moment, which has become significantly cheaper.

14. Apple iPhone 13

90 starsRead the Apple iPhone 13 test The iPhone 13 is Apple's most balanced formula, as was the iPhone 12 last year. The new model monopolizes the strengths of its predecessor while displaying a little more serious autonomy. We can regret the impasse made on the 120 Hz refresh rate reserved for Pro models, but Apple offers us excellent image quality at 60 Hz. This year again, the iPhone is a must have for any consumer looking for of a complete high-end smartphone.

15. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (5G) is sold a bit more expensive than the 4G version by Samsung, but that's the price to pay to enjoy 5G as its name suggests. We also note the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor instead of the Exynos 990. But in general terms, these two models offer the same performance. It benefits from a 120 Hz Super AMOLED screen and a 4500 mAh battery.

16. Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max

Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max The iPhone 13 Pro Max is the fastest and largest version of this generation of iPhone. Great novelty, its 6.7-inch screen benefits, like the iPhone 13 Pro, from a 120 Hz refresh rate. The latter is also protected by Apple's Ceramic Shield and the device is IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. The photo part has also been improved and the A15 Bionic chip provides more power.

17. Samsung Galaxy A52s

Samsung Galaxy A52s The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G replaces the A52 and brings a new processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G. It is therefore a faster model and which should satisfy users looking for a mid-range device cut out for gaming.

18. Apple iPhone 11

90 starsRead the Apple iPhone 11 test If our preference is the iPhone 11 Pro Max, for most users of "old machines" who want to renew iPhone, we recommend the iPhone 11. "The entry level" 2019 d 'Apple relies on a processor (the same as its big Pro brothers) that is faster in single-tasking and much more efficient in multitasking, and the battery life is satisfactory. The iPhone 11 also benefits from an improved ultra-wide-angle portrait mode, excellent photo/video capture and a devilishly effective night mode. A worthy successor to the iPhone XR, this iPhone 11 is a very balanced machine and has a good performance / price ratio.

19.LG OLED48C1

95 starsRead the LG OLED48C1 test LG's flagship model in 2021 takes up most of what made the success of the LG CX of 2020: impeccable image quality, advanced features and top video game performance. But its exceptional performance and its high-end characteristics do not overshadow its price, which is quite high for a 48-inch OLED. If you have the means, however, there is no doubt that the C1 will give you complete satisfaction.

20.LG OLED55C1

95 starsRead the LG OLED55C1 test LG's flagship model in 2021 takes up most of what made the success of the LG CX of 2020: impeccable image quality, advanced features and top video game performance. From 11 up to 33% discount desired

To go further, Idealo has also indicated the percentage of discount desired by (possible) future buyers. Sometimes whimsical, we discover that they would like to find PlayStation 5 Standard at €335 when it was marketed at €499.99 (-39%) and it is difficult to find.

The 15% and 16% reductions desired for the Apple AirPods Pro and AirPods 2 (with the wired charging case) seem more likely to us, since these products have often been discounted in 2021. Be careful however, because the Pro model is more plus harder to find without MagSafe (a feature that naturally drives up the price of headphones).
