The Apple Pencil and the iPad Pro are obviously made to go together… except that Apple did not want the two devices to live together. Yet it is their destiny, but there is nothing to do, even the cases designed by Apple for its tablets do not allow the pencil to slip somewhere. An unreliable rumor last week announced a second generation of the Pencil that could stay closer to the iPad thanks to a system of magnets (read: Doubtful rumors about the iPhone 8 and a hypothetical Apple Pencil 2) .

For those who can't wait, or who are tired of losing their Pencil, here is a clever little accessory, the Link. This plastic product signed by the Swiss from Richtig Design clings to one edge of the tablet and simply allows you to hold the stylus.

The gadget is 3D printed in several colors, it is compatible with both iPad Pro formats, and it can even be used with a Smart Cover (but not the silicone case that protects the back of the tablet) . The price is $16 per unit, to which must be added $5 for shipping.

For 2.5 euros there are notebook-style elastic loops that can be glued to the shell or cover. At Amazon.

Seriously, what is this "I'm losing my AirPods", "I'm losing my pencil" madness? ? personally the AirPods I don't really see how to lose one, either they are in the ears or they go directly into the charging box.. the same for the pencil, it is either with the tablet or in the pen pocket of my bag, or else in its approved storage place... It's not very complicated, and it would bother me much less than a small piece of plastic glued to the tablet (which would also prevent it , in my case, to get into the bag. No more fear of breaking the stylus in the pocket like that)

Mickaël Bazoge | I swear it happens to lose the Pencil. Especially with a cat who loves to play with pens as a rule. toketapouet |

UAG case with pencil loop, never lost.

As much as the idea, I could at a pinch adhere… but 16€ the little piece of plastic shouldn't be messed around!

@jeckill13

Wrong to think that they must have had considerable research and development costs for such a compact and ingenious product??

Personally, my iPad pro has a cover that includes a space to put the stylus (which I never use, oops - I'm talking about the stylus).

Produced with a 3D printer...seriously...Thank you for the pollution produced and the energy consumed, to make this little piece of plastic:(We're really walking upside down.
